Or the aerial. Check that hasn#t been knocked out of line or damaged. Check all connections are OK from aerial to PVR

Digital pictures (recordings too) get pixilated if the signal is poor. In an extreme case the image freezes because the circuits just don't know what to show.

Look to the cables - particularly the connectors - one of them might have been knocked.
