nexus 8 burglar alarm sensors?

hi i have a nexus 8 burglar alarm. recently one sensor in the house activates when someone walks past it despite the alarm being off. the activation causes the alarm make an audiable "beep"

additionally, the beep is activated when the front door is opened.

any ideas clever people on how to fix?
