my bissell proheat pet sprayscarpet cleaner the water out just fine but won't suction back up. what is the problem?

I bought a second VAX wet & dry vacuum cleaner from a boot fair for £5, sucks up water much better than any Bissell, I use it after shampooing my carpets, leaves them almost dry, also handy for vacuuming.

The sucking airway is either blocked (possibly) or is leaking and allowing air to get in where it should not (more likely)

You would do well to examine it closely - the airway.
