put contact clip back into base plate BOSCH?

My mum has just given me a kettle as not working and upon examination the poor kettle seems to have a dislodged contact clip. I coud hear it rattling inside the base, then it fell out as I turned it over. The rest of the BOSCH TWK861 kettle works, the temp lights, switches etc, but it won't heat at all. I would be so glad to be able to get it working for her as it was expensive, but has the great plus of producing hot water, not boiling, if required, great for older people.
