My Henry Hoover works but when I move the Hoover it will go off then on aga?

My Hoover will stay on if not moved but as soon as I move it it goes off then comes on again very odd?

Problem could also be at the hoover end.

As Mr Good Luck says: a good wiggle may identify the end at fault

A common problem with vacuum cleaners is a broken conductor inside the cable - at the plug end - from enthusiastic tugging.

Test for it by messing with the cable close to the plug then you'll know.

The fix is to cut away the plug and a few inches of cable and to fit a new plug - quick - cheap & easy.
