How do I replace the white ignition button on my gas hob?

My ignition button has split! Bought a new one, tried to prise off old one, but it snapped, how do I change it please as old button broke into pieces . Whirlpool AKM200 hob

I have now sorted it. Switch electric off, prised off unit and pulled wise through. Unplugged switch and added new one and pushed it back. Cleaned the connector a little then switched on electric and hrypresso it works. Just cost me £10 for the switch from Amazon.
