My maytag jetclean dishwasher isn't getting any water to the water jets?
My Maytag Jetclean dishwasher isn't getting any water. We pulled the dishwasher out and checked the metal water line for kinks (and found one). However, after we put the dishwasher back in its place, the water jet at the top of the dishwasher wouldn't turn. I'm not sure the bottom jet is turning either but it felt like it had some water on it. What the heck is wrong? This dishwasher is 12 years old and fantastic.
I always start at the shut off valve. If its 12yrs old and your water is hard it could be clogged with calicum deposits. If there was a kink in the copper tubing behind the d/w it may need replaced ( you may replace with plastic although check local codes).
