how to fix the timing?

my machine is a singer 248 and the timing is off.How can i fix this problem

What makes you think the timing is off ?
If the machine is missing stitches it may well be a bent or blunt needle or even the needle in the wrong way round, I hope you are still looking for an answer to this question, e-mail if you can,
