Where can I buy replacement parts for my Rowenta DGs580 steam iron?
My Rowenta DG580 will not steam. It gets very hot, but when I push the steam button only hot water pours out? My husband took it apart, but is not sure exactly which part needs to be replaced. It is not under warranty.
Have you tried replacing the o-ring on the screw in plug to the tank? If the o-ring is too compressed it looses internal steam pressure. I have not been able to find the red o-rings but have been using a #15 black o-ring from the plumbing dept of any hardware or home improvement store. They just need to be replaced more often. I am still looking for the red kind which I believe to be more heat resistant.

call "Authorized Appliance" at 630-852-1550 for help, parts or to send in for repairs I,ve gotten help from them for my last rowenta and now my new one is broken so I'll be calling them also.
