Mend Weedeater WT3100

weedeater model wt3100?

I purchased a weedeater model WT3100, it worked about 5 min. the head stoped turning engine runs good ,took it back to the store,they give me a new one, started it up,engine runs good ,but the head does not turn
I can take it back or to a repair center.
But would like to know if there is a problem with all.

check to make sure the drive shaft is engaged with the drive head square spline. you should be able to feel it go in about 3/4 of an inch when aligned.it doesn`t hurt a thing to loosen the screws that hold the head on to the shaft.
