How can I fix my GE color tv?

I moved my TV onto my safe and when I turned it on my color was all messed up. It is blue, purple and green - very pretty, but not great for watching reality tv. Purple faces, blue hands. Very weird.

It's a GE tv with a built in VCR model number 19tvr60. Can I fix it at home? I'm pretty mechanical, so I'm pretty confident if there's a fix i can do it. Any help?

Actually answering my own question ...

I found out the the safe I put it on must be magnetized and that will distort the color of the picture.

Apparently inside the TV is a switch that keeps the screen de-magnetized. Well, if it gets too near something with a strong magnetic field - like speakers, it can distort the color. So I tried to use some of my home magnets to fix and found that the magnets stuck to the safe. I got the TV down and voila! The color is perfect as long as it is well away from the safe!

Hope this helps someone else.
