Mend Zanussi ZDT6053 Open Dishwasher Opening

Detergent lid does not fully open (Zanussi ZDT6053 dishwasher)?

The lid where I put the dishwasher powder/tablet is not opening fully during the wash cycle - it catches on the upper rack. It means the tablet is not desolving fully and the dishes are not wahsed fully.

Is this a problem in the fitting as I can't find any bad feedback on this dishwasher!

they do catch on top basket.check top spray arm holes arn't blocked as this stops tablet from washing out.

you've answered your own question.
check why the lid is too close to the door,
are the rubber protectors on the top rack front worn/missing?
is the rack bent/being pushed to the front?
or overloaded? have a good look and also check free movement of the lid.
when it opens it sometimes gets a boost from the top spraybar is that spinning freely?
are the end holes clear of debry and food particles,they rotate the spraybar
