Mend Baumatic OV-60 Stay Ignition Lights

my baumatic oven won't stay alight when the oven knob is released?

I have a baumatic oven and when you push the knob in and press the ignition it lights but as soon as you release the knob the oven goes out, or it lights and stays on for a little while and then goes out after a couple of minutes
