Baumatic hob igniter keeps sparking?

My Baumatic hob continues to spark all the time if left plugged in. also some of the taps did not ignite at all before this started.

I had very similar problem a few year ago. please take the hob out and clean the switches with a fast air pump. Small bits stick in the places where the switches are pressed.- ie when the switch is pressed to ignite the gas it has small food particles stuck. It worked for 2 years then...

However, this has happened 2nd time after 2 years and on cleaning the hob the ignition still ignites all the time and I am also stuck. please help !
