Mend Singer 513 Sewing Machine Foot Control

How do I wire an old Singer foot control to a 513?

I aquired a Singer 513 w/o the foot control. It appears to have a 3-prong socket. I have an older foot controller from a Singer 301. On that Model, the f/controller is a 2 prong unit and the power cord is a separate piece. I assume on the 513, that the power cord and f/control is integral. Thanks!

Hello Steve,
you should be able to use any foot control on the 513, there are only two connections inside the control.
