the lettering has gone on my hob for switches?

i have this problem on my belling cookers D841 i found a replacement fascia which i would like to buy and put on ---> www.espares.co.uk/part/cookers-and-hobs/belling/p/1092/154/0/0/927287/fascia-h%2fp-bell-d841.html

are these easy to change?

Hi!
This problem crops up time and time again! on older appliances the lettering etc used to be engraved and then backfilled with pigment polished level. However I now get no end of appliances where the lettering appears to be little better than screen printing or letraset! I have resorted to using a minicraft micro tool and stencil to engrave the lettering similar to the older methods, but appearance wise it's a poor substitute.
