how do i start a vantage 33 lawnmower?

I have bought a vantage 33 lawnmower from a carboot sale and i,m not sure how to start and stop it.The only names on it are Vantage 33 Tecumseh Valex Daytona TS

put some petrol in!! pull up the lever parrallel to the handlebar, this is the ignition switch I put a clip on that to hold it on, on the side of the carb is a red rubber button push that in for about five seconds that is the "choke" then pull the starter rope it should start within three pulls. it is a very good machine
