how can iget my suffolk punch mower to start?

my suffolk punch 30 wont start after being stored in a dry shed all winter fuel flows ok ihave changed the spark plug but it still refuses to start . any ideas or suggestions most welcome

Black Qualcast engine? Press the button on the bottom of the float chamber to release old fuel, and allow it to fill up again before attempting a re start. If no joy, pour a few drops of petrol down the plug hole, and try again. If still nothing, check for a spark. If thats ok, off with the carburettor for a clean.
