Mend Singer 774 Sewing Machine Needle

How do I fix my Singer 774 sewing machine needle?

My needle is all the way to the left even though the setting is all the way to the right. The needle is not bent. I want to stitch straight down the middle but in order to do that I have to keep it set all the way to the right and watch it carefully.

Hello Sandy,
You need to adjust the needle position from inside the top of the machine but if you have a two piece body machine you are making a lot of work for yourself.
