Halstead ace hot water going cold?

Hi i have recently started having problems with my halstead boiler , takes ages for burner to come on , then when water gets hot its goes cold again, ch is fine , when tap is switched off then fully on again it comes hot again, its a halstead ace high approx 4 yr old
