I have a singer model 327, the foot pedal, is heal hot, after in use, can it be fixed, or can I replace it with a pedal and what model will work?

Hello Sharran,
you can replace the foot control with any standard type foot control, normally YDK, very easy to fit, however, if your foor control is getting really hot, undo the control and take out the suppressor that is attached between the two terminals, it may be that part that is getting hot, you no longer need them in controls these days.
