My oven fan has stopped working. Will a new fan motor fix this or could it ?
I spilt some water on the top of my tricity bendix oven cooker, (model SI450B). Since then the fan on the main oven has not worked; but the fan element seems OK and the top oven is OK. Before I order a replacement fan motor I would like to know if anything other than the motor might be preventing the fan from working. Can you advise me?
i, the same as you spilt water, next day my oven isnt working at all, but mine has settings 4 fan or not..but doesnt work on either..but mine id the cooker selecter switch thats gone..the rest of my electrics all work i.e clock, igniters..no oven..hop this helps you .x

The only way to be 100% sure is to connect the fan motor directly to a mains supply.if it rotates freely its not the fan.On the other hand if it doesn't then you know to replace the fan motor.Sounds like a straight forward fan motor issue but performing the above will prove one way or the other
