How can I get my Tricity Bendix cooker top oven doors back on again?

I have a Tricity Bendix SE 501/1/W cooker. I lifted off the top oven door very easily by springing back the catches inside the door and lifting the entire door off in order to clean it properly. Now the catches won't work in reverse. When offered up one side catches on, but not the other. The catches are very strong and I don't see how to get them to grip.

you need to have the hinges in the open position and locked before putting them through the holes in the side of the cooker frame.you then roll and hook them.Hard to explain but simple when you know
