How do i get the dryer to work on an Omega WD 1067 front loader?

I figured out the trick on mine. It will only run the dryer when you have the half load button pushed in. Otherwise it gets to the end of the wash cycle and stops.

To dry only, set the middle dial (drying time, scale starts at 180') to your desired time, press the 1/2 load button, set the right dial (washing controls) to one of the dots, and pull the washing knob outwards.

I am staying in an apartment that has one of these and figured it out from the instructions for an Omega WD 1052 (http://www.omegaappliances.com.au/Documents/Document_722.pdf) which has similar dials.

The device controls are very cryptic.

I have the same problem, this machine is a mystery.... and so antique.... anyone would have a clue how to start the dryer... cannot find a manual.....
