I have just replaced my saniplus macerator and once connected it made a low humming noise for several minutes before stopping completely.it was not the normal sound the system makes but much quiter. does this sound like a faulty motor. any ideas please,Adrian.
Does the waste actually pump away? If it does then it sounds as though it is working correctly. Saniplus units do get noisier through use. As it is a new unit it will be quieter than the old anyway
