how can I fix my LXI television?

My LXI TV, moel 43458, dated 1996 will no longer come on when I push the power button. Sometimes a small flash of light occurs in the upperleft corner of the screen for a second, and then nothing. Nothing lights up. It is a 26 inch screeen, RCA tube type A68ADT27X05. Is this fixable by me?

Your best bet is to discard the TV. It will cost you more than what you payed for it. The picture tube is shot, and who knows what else. Your TV more than likely has HIGH VOLTAGE. Be careful.
