how can i fix my dishwasher it is washing in cold water ?

Why do you go out buying parts if you don't even know how to fit them? You may of wasted your money because as Kilkenny said you haven't tested the old element to see if it is indeed faulty. The problem may be caused by something else.

iam presuming you haven't checked /removed the existing element,so how the hell can you be sure the fault lies with the element .my only advice to you is to get someone in who knows what they are doing:|. I don't want to appear rude but I think you have got a little ahead of yourself .
