I was hoovering around ,and decided to empty bag after replacing bag ,I flicked the switch to come on and nothing happened ,.I changed the fuse that didnt help,..I unravelled lead completely and noticed the lead was hot..is it repairable?
You are a star,!! It works !!!...thank you Rich..I will certainly unravel the lead from now on,.we really thought it was destined for the bin.

A lot of appliances have an automatic cut off when they get to hot,leave the lead out to cool then try it.You should always pull the lead out fully to prevent overheating(also with extension leads)unless you are going to use it for only a few moments.
