Thanks , it's the biggest fight I have ever had to get to access a bulb. But after 4 flat screwdrivers as wedges it's finally released! Now to buy a bulb . Appreciate your help

Place an old towel on the floor of the oven chamber - take the biggest flat bladed screwdriver you can find and just prise the glass from its hole - the glass lens is very thick and tough - you will not break it - and you really don't need the towel.
