Morphy Richards breadmaker 48280 is still not working with new belt?

Having just replaced the breadmaker with a new belt, and there is still no life, would you have any suggestions what else I can check? The display window shows program 1 when switched on, there's no sound/ movement when I start the program.
Would you know how to reset the machine ? when I press the start/stop button for a few seconds, it bleeps and stops, but the display window doesn't show any difference that reset was done.
