matsui tv / dvd 1410 combo playing plug and play games?

just purchased one of these plug and play games (cheap scooby doo one) plugged in the yellow and white leads and nothing has happened. I have lost the instructions and my impatient daughter is driving me mad to play the game.

Can anyone please tell me what button to press as i have pressed them with no luck.
