pilot light won't stay on?

as soon as I release the pilot light button on Vulcan gas heater the pilot light goes out. I replaced the thermocouple but this has not fixed the problem.

double chech the t/coupling is tight in the gas valve also the flame is covering the t/coupling tip, after that new gas valve and a gas safe eng to fitt it.
