Where is the fuel filter on a gz marauder 125?

I need to see if the filter is blocked as I am riding along and when i come to slow down my bike just dies on me every so often.

If there is no filter visible in the fuel pipe, then its actually on the tap itself in the form of a bowl, or maybe within the tank itself - only visible when the tap is unscrewed from the tank.
